  1.                               Serum Sickness
  2. SYMPTOMS. Serum sickness can cause fever, swelling of the lymph node, pains
  3. in the joints, hives or other skin rash.
  4. CAUSES. The allergic reaction is usually caused by penicillin or other drugs
  5. to which a person is unusually sensitive. There is usually a delay of a
  6. week to 12 days before the reaction appears.
  7. TREATMENT. The sickness will limit the person's activity.
  8. .Your doctor will prescribe medication to relieve the itching & joint pain.
